Growing up, as a source of entertainment and laughs, my parents would do a ritual with each of their babies that consisted of several different hats/buckets/etc that were placed on the head and then photographed. All the while, the current baby would make disgruntled faces, blow raspberries, etc. They had eight children. Lots of entertainment. Thus far, our children, as babies, despised anything put on their heads. So much so that they would throw a tantrum if a hat even came close. Liam is different. He is our calm child. Our child that briefly may resist something he doesn't want and then give in. Thus, he takes a pacifier, even if he doesn't really want it. He wears a hat, even if it isn't wanted. Liam also readily shares a smile at faces, blank walls, etc. He is an easy going baby. So today, we got out some hats. Initially I thought that he would just endure a few and then be done. He kept smiling and we kept bringing them!
Here he is hatless (sporting some leftovers on his face too)

He IS adorable.. but FIVE more? Really?? You go girl. Jasen casually mentioned he wouldn't mind us having one more.. to which I could barely respond. We have been free of cribs, carriers and ba-ba's.. for over 2 years!! How I loved it all-- but how I refuse to go back there! (Although your precious little boy makes it tempting..) Fun to hear from ya..
Cute cute boy!
I love that boy and his mamma!
Love all his cute faces with each different hats! Sounds like he is a very easy child for you so far! Your surly blessed with 4 great kids!!
Oh be careful what you wish for!! I love the pictures! I should do that with my boys although I don't think I have quite the hat collection you have! We sure miss you guys and can't wait to get these little boys together!!
Awwww. What a sweetie! So darn cute--and easy going too. What a blessing.
